Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20th, 2003) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She gained recognition in the last decade with her lead roles on the Disney television series Bizaardvark as well as High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License" was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke many records and was among the top 2021 songs in sales. This helped her rise to mainstream stardom. It was followed by singles "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her first studio album as a solo artist, Sour (2021), that was both a critical and commercial success and garnered three Grammy Awards. In 2022 the year 2022, the Disney+ documentary called Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 U chronicled her creative process. She was also honored with an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as well as four MTV Video Music Awards. Time has named her one of the 2021 Entertainers Of The Year, and Billboard named her Woman of The Year in 2022.
Rodrigo received numerous awards for her contribution to music including three Grammy Awards. [111] Billboard gave her the Woman of the Year award during the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. She was also awarded the Variety Songwriter of the Year honours in 2021. in 2022 at the ASCAP Awards. [114]
