Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she was noticed by the general public in the year 2010. Her ability to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a standout contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice and talent for making songs that are catchy and emotional. She is similar with Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists of the same ilk. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
