Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Bolduan also worked at Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan, as an integral part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative discussions, such as negotiations for raising the limit on federal loans and Super Committee discussions. She also worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision on Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan. She was appointed an CNN Newsource national reporter in 2007. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She was employed by NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She lives currently in New York City along with her two children, husband and parents.
