Sharp was born and raised at home in Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet as well as piano. When she was awarded a scholarship to The Boston Conservatory because of her enthusiasm for school theatre, Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey to the stage. She appeared in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp has also performed in Abyssinia and Aida as well as Thunder Knockin Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a reading partner of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp, who has worked in both on the screen and the stage, is working on a number of new projects of her own. Alongside performing, she is currently developing an album. Sharp likes to stay fit and always in top condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles, California with her family.
